Tom Hank Joins Cloud Atlas
Deadline reports that Tom Hanks has officially attached himself to Cloud Atlas. The film based on the book by is being written and co-directed by The Wachowskis and Tom Tykwer(Run Lola Run). Other actors rumored or linked for the film include Halle Berry, James McAvoy, Natalie Portman and Hugo Weaving. The production starts in September and with the announcement of Hanks joining more official casting news is expected soon.

ComingSoon confirms that Tom Hanks has joined Kathryn Bigelow’s (Hurt Locker) Triple Frontier (Sleeping Dogs). Previously there had been word that other heavy weight actors were interested in the film they included Sean Penn, Will Smith, Javier Bardem and Christian Bale.

Deadline reports that Tom Hanks could have a role in the crime thriller Triple Frontier which is being directed by Kathryn Bigelow (Hurt Locker). The film is set in the organized crime haven that exists in the border zone between Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil. Hanks might be known for his touching dramatic and comedic roles. Yet he’s also played some serious badasses in films like Saving Private Ryan and Road To Perdition. Other actors like Will Smith, Sean Penn, Christian Bale and Javier Bardem have been rumored for the project.
