RadarOnline (via FilmSchoolRejects) has word that Universal is pushing to bring back Kristen Stewart for the sequel to Snow White And The Huntsman. It had been reported previously the studio was looking to make the sequel centered around The Huntsman played by Chris Hemsworth. David Koepp was hired to develop a script while this new report says David is now gone but a script is ready to go. However, the big news is that Rupert Sanders won’t be back to direct but the project is still being aimed to start shooting at the end of 2013. It’s unknown how concrete this new information is so take it as a rumor for now.
TheWrap reports that Chris Hemsworth has attached himself with a role in Stephen Gaghan’s thriller Candy Store. Gaghan is best known for his directorial debut Syriana which earned George Clooney an Oscar win. Stephen has even won an Oscar himself for his screenwriting work on Steven Soderberg’s Traffic. Names such as Denzel Washington, Brad Pitt, Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon and Bradley Cooper had been previously linked. However, in the new report Pitt and Waltz are the only two mentioned.

Empire has word from Anne Hathaway (Dark Knight Rises) that if the film moves forward she’ll have a role in Steven Spielberg’s Robopocalypse. The film was written by Drew Goddard (Cabin In The Woods, Cloverfield) and is based on the novel by Daniel H. Wilson. Chris Hemsworth (Avengers) has already been cast in the male lead with Ben Whishaw (Skyfall) in talks for another role.
“If ‘Robopocalypse’ happens I will be in it and I believe it’s quite real, though you never want to hang your hat on anything.”
Variety reports yet another possible addition to the cast of Steven Spielberg’s Robopocalypse. As British actor Ben Whishaw is wanted for the role of hacker Lurker. Whishaw is best known for his roles in Perfume and Layer Cake. He’ll be seen next in Cloud Atlas and as the new Q in Skyfall. The sci-fi action film already has Chris Hemsworth (Thor, Avengers) in place for the lead and Anne Hathaway (Dark Knight Rises) is being courted for the female role.
THR reports that Anne Hathaway (Dark Knight Rises) is now currently in talks to take the female lead in Steven Spielberg’s Robopcalypse. The sci-fi actioner already has Chris Hemsworth (Avengers, Thor) cast in the main role.
