Ben Mendelsohn Revealed In New ‘DARK KNIGHT RISES’ Trailer
It looks like we have yet another stunning surprise from Christopher Nolan as Aussie actor Ben Mendelsohn appears in the new Dark Knight Rises trailer. It hadn’t been reported he even was apart of the cast. We should expect a large number of these sort of cameos popping up. Since I’m sure a lot of these cameos were done as a favor to Nolan or actors just wanted to be involved in the final film. During the screening of the opening scene it was also revealed that Irish actor Adian Gillen best known for series like The Wire and Game of Thrones would have a small part as a CIA agent.
John Michael McDonagh Making Another Dark Irish Comedy
John Michael McDonagh is quickly becoming a rather well known name in the world of comedy. More specifically black comedies, which are a mix of nior elements and dark comedy. His previous The Guard is a comedy that rival his Hollywood peers in the sheer quality of the characters and script. The next project revealed by Deadline as Calvary is gathering steam and an impressive cast. Brendan Gleeson will reteam with the John the rest of the cast included Chris O’Dowd (Bridesmaids), Kelly Reilly (Sherlock Holmes 1-2) and Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones, Dark Knight Rises, The Wire). The film focuses on a preiest that is tormented by his community.
Irish Actor Aidan Gillen Confirmed For Dark Knight Rises
While I won’t spoil any of the story details from The Dark Knight Rises prologue there is something interesting I had to share. It’s been confirmed by multiple sources that Irish actor Aidan Gillen (Blitz, The Wire, Game of Thrones) is featured in the footage which was screened tonight. I’m sure it’s just a cameo but it’s the first news of his involvement.
